THEIR RIGHT, every 3 & 4 year old in Australia should get access to high-quality, play-based learning that's what a stay at home parent, community, playing with neighbourhood kids, playgroup, was all about BEFORE the push for everyone to be a good taxpayer worker ant happened.

Let them be kids for a while

No, just pay mothers to stay at home. Some play groups for one or two days a week for 3 and particularly 4 year olds. Informal mothers' groups good. Either parent at home but mothers more innately gifted in looking after young children. Not PC!!!

Free babysitting.

Or they could have a parent at home and be allowed to free play outside with other kids

Can I ask why there is a constant movement to take children away from their parents?

'high quality, play based learning ...' Don't you mean Indoctrination 101?

Exactly:

Many children, especially male who enter school based on their birth date are easily 12 - 24 months behind their peers developmentally. Our education system needs to understand the wide variance of development and provide more diversity and specialisation in prepatory education.
