Teacher asks parents to stop buying stationary item for back to school season

A teacher is asking parents to stop buying their children one stationary item as back to school season arrives.

The teacher outlined a number of reasons why this item shouldn't be included in your children’s pencil cases, from distracting other students to getting measurements wrong. “Fifth, these will definitely be used as a toy and not a school supply; those two things should be separate.”One person said: “All these distractions in the classroom and then a teacher gets blamed for not being 'engaging' when the kids don’t pay attention”.

However, there were others who thought they were great for helping their children concentrate in class.
