KUALA LUMPUR: KGW Group Bhd has via its wholly-owned subsidiary KGW Logistics Sdn Bhd partners Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia to establish an enterprise trade hub to empower students with hands-on learning in logistics and e-commerce.

In a statement, the logistics services provider said the enterprise trade hub will function as a learning centre for import and export trade via online platforms like eBay, Amazon, and Etsy, specifically targeting the USA market. KGW will provide facilities at UTHM including specialised rooms such as a warehouse, parcel collection room and more to allow students to experience the actual workflow and operations of a real-world logistics system.

"We are proud to be part of this educational revolution. Our hands-on approach not only differentiates us but also aligns with our commitment to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs," said KGW managing director Datuk Roger Wong in a statement. He added that UTHM is based in Johor, and the project will highlight Johor's commitment to be at the forefront of technological and educational advancements.
