will soon issue guidelines to lessen the administrative load of teachers, said spokesperson Michael Poa on Wednesday.

In his second State of the Nation Address on Monday, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said that the government was working to augment the school workforce by adding administrative personnel.Poa expanded on this during the Post-Sona panel discussions, during which some government officials elaborated on the president’s plans.

“One more big complaint of our teachers is that they have so many admin tasks. That’s why in a few weeks’ time, we will be issuing our interim guidelines on reducing right away the admin tasks of our teachers. We will hand them over to the non-teaching personnel,” Poa said, speaking partly in Filipino.
