Prime Minister Anthony Albanese “knows” we won’t be going to war with China over Taiwan, according to Curtin University’s Professor Joseph Siracusa.

“Taiwan is manufactured – we could go into war over the South China Sea and freedom of navigation,” Professor Siracusa told Sky News Australia.

“The deal on Taiwan is that there’s no independence movement, that is there’s no independent foreign policy – and the deal on Beijing is they keep their hands off them while this is going on.”
