In her role as Cady Heron, Tala Alyasin aptly portrayed the evolution of the naive new girl to Spring Fling Queen. In songs like “Fearless” and “More Is Better”, Alyasin brought the audience along on Cady’s journey as she navigated the perils and pitfalls of high school social drama. When sharing the spotlight with other cast members, such as in “Apex Predator”, Alyasin displayed a solid ability to harmonize.

While they had to work together to overcome a few technical challenges, the cast and crew of St. Patrick’s High School delivered a memorable production of Mean Girls: The Musical High School Edition. His powerful vocals and impressive dance skills made this lovable character seem even more real. In the song “Stop,” Zamora’s tap dancing was perfectly synced with the ensemble and his facial expressions were on point. As well, his spoken lines were hilariously supplied.

With great talent, students of St. Patrick’s High School brought this performance and the characters to life. The upbeat choreography included a group of tap dancers and a solo performed by Kieran Babcock which were filled with talent and skill. The ensemble came in with courage that made the production a delight to witness.
