High school junior Josh Alexander is appealing to Ontario's human rights tribunal after he was allegedly suspended from his Catholic school for opposing transgenderism.
"The Diocese of Pembroke says the school is not under its jurisdiction," Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, told Fox News Digital."That is true. It is also true that this is a lame response: What is stopping the diocese from speaking out against the school’s administrators?"
"As a guiding principle, the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board’s top priority is the safety and well-being of our students. As part of a Catholic community, we expect that values will be expressed respectfully and in a way that is not harmful to others," Searson wrote. St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Renfrew, Ontario, which is associated with the Diocese of Pembroke.
