“It’s a completely new kind of cheating to be honest, and it seems to be kind of uncatchable,” said UVic English Professor Stephen Ross. Currently, one of the most common AI technologies used is called ChatGPT, and its use on campus is no secret.
I Remember when schools tried to ban calculators.
uvic Go back to oral exams! It'll be fun. You can scan for earpieces and watch body language to see if they're cheating. Random questions asked at the exam so there's nothing to steal. On the downside, you'll actually have to teach instead of getting people to memorize...
Students are the 'artificial' if they think cheating or taking the easy road is the answer 🙎🤷
Too funny alarmed. You have been warned since I believe 2000 when elonmusk told the world AI unregulated will destroy humanity. Look how fast AI is growing and will continue to grow until we are doomed. Unless it becomes regulated.
Don't act like the professors aren't doing it also.
The education system is a joke. Kids are taught to chase grades and a piece of paper to hang on the wall instead of knowledge.
