A Pennsylvania state senator is proposing legislation that would require high school seniors to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, which determines eligibility for governmental and school financial aid. Doing so could help students realize aid may be available to help pay post-secondary education costs. His bill includes an opt-out provision, said Sen. Scott Martin, R-Lancaster County.
