Lots of hateful scabby tweets here. Love & respect to the teachers. We support you!!

Contract is insulting.'Task force on green space'...one of many soft UTLA 'wins' that shows LAUSD won. Teachers miss 7 days of pay and CalSTRS retirement for this!? Students miss 6 days of ed? Strike this long, causing so much pain to teachers/students/parents, for so little?

This week is National School Choice Week, good time to leave lousy Union controlled school striking system. More Pay = Higher Union Dues Smaller Class Size = More teachers more Union Dues Enough! Union bozos Dancing, laughing and NOT teaching kids!

Is it true that the contract is only till June 2020

details on the deal

I hope they recieved a great deal

Phil_Mattingly Bravo!

Do they have a tentative agreement, or are we going back to work while one is being negotiated?

Where did they find the money?

Must’ve have gotten a raise. Strike cost the district money since so many students didn’t attend classes during the strike. Money that is based on student attendance.

Feel so sorry for the children in California. Look at the live feed of the announcement. A bunch of liberal misfits.

You mean they talked and negotiated with each other? Maybe the Democrats could learn something.

How can you expect to not have crowded classrooms and open borders simultaneously? Riddle me this. Perhaps if striking teachers didn't allow their Union heads to give 98% of Union contributions to Liberal Dems who support open borders & unlimited illegal immigration- consuming significant taxpayer resources- there wld be more for teachers. Ohh, did Nancy make her way back from the airport?

An ugly call about Trump's wall reaches an LAUSD strike picket lineAs the LAUSD strike continues, reports of an ugly incident — when a district employee working at a school calls out to picketing teachers out front: 'Build the wall!' She's right. Build the Wall. 250,000 “undocumented” children are in California’s public school system. It’s sad that she was only “removed” from that location. So she’s still teaching/working at another school? Okayyyyyy!

Navigating LAUSD strike is especially tough for parents of students with special needsLos Angeles Unified School District serves 60,000 students with special needs, more than 12% of its overall enrollment. The LAUSD teachers' strike is especially worrisome for the parents of those children, who fear schedule disruptions and other safety concerns. But are they concerned about the conditions of the people who are surrogate parents to their children? If you passed a law that prohibited illegal aliens ( supreme court's term, not mine ) from using public schools, the funding and the class size problem would be solved. Illegal immigrants using public schools affects poor African Americans the most. Selfish teachers need to think about the children first
