A Lanarkshire teacher is facing being banned from the profession after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a pupil.
A month later, he is accused of quizzing her on experiences of sexual assault, and her relationship status and told her that they should 'go for drinks' when she left school. He also provided her with his personal email address. It's alleged he told the child that there "wasn't that much of an age gap" between the two when it was suggested a relationship would be inappropriate.
By November 2018, he had asked the pupil to add him on Snapchat, but warned her not to tell anyone as they would both get into trouble.
