Probably getting extra money off the gov to do this ... in the new world robots will rule ...

Elitists. My neice was turned down by cambridge but their loss. She went to UEA and is a mover and shaker.

‘Dorcas Shodeinde was among the successful students. She has been in care since she was 14 and now has an offer to study law at St Catherine’s College, Oxford ... she said. “I was determined that my future would be different.” Go Dorcas!

The only census should be their talents and results in the schools, not minority background. University is for intellectual elites not a play of political correctness.

This is totally brilliant. Well done to these students for putting in the hard work.

Just to be clear are these unconditional offers or offers subject to gaining particular A level grades? Given the time of year I suspect the latter

Nice to see a state school putting students forward. Congratulations. Now let's get other schools doing the same.

Inside the super state schools getting dozens of pupils into OxbridgeIt sits just a few minutes from the River Thames, but Brampton Manor Academy in east London feels a very long way from your average inner-city school. *****These are the results of their work. When heat is off, they will revert to their elitist best
