Police believe the suspects were involved in multiple armed robberies and conducted a carjacking the same day they allegedly shot a 15-year-old at Weston Collegiate Institute in February.

Two teens believed to be involved in a shooting outside of Weston Collegiate Institute have been charged in multiple armed robberies and a carjacking, Peel police say.

It is alleged that the suspects robbed two currency exchange shops in the Peel region at gunpoint on Feb. 3. They escaped in a vehicle stolen from Barrie. On Feb. 16, police say the suspects conducted a carjacking at gunpoint near Chinguacousy Road and Charolais Boulevard in Brampton.shot a 15-year-old boy in the parking lotThe next day, Toronto police executed a search warrant at a Mississauga home where they found the two suspects. They also found a gun, other items related to the robberies and the stolen vehicle.. Now they are facing additional robbery charges, including two counts of robbery with a firearm and possession of stolen property.
