It has not been stated but surely this child will get inpatient mental health care. His past history included multiple disciplinary issues. If something isn't done, he is another horrible incident waiting to happen and this time it will be on the prosecutors office!
This young man needs special counselling at the very least. He most likely would not understand all the ins and outs of the legal system he needs to be made aware what he did is wrong plus how he came into having a weapon needs exploring. To complete ignoring will not help.
Agree 6 yr old should not be charged but there shound be consequences for irresponsible parent(s) who do not secure weapons. Sorry, can’t imagine how some idiot parent allowed this to occur. Send a message!
