I can understand the anxiety that some would have to open their homes to strangers, but we must be accustomed to these students by now. After all we come into contact with them every day as a great many students work in service jobs. There are thousands of them here now attending Cape Breton University .

I will contact my councillor, Stephen Parsons, to see if maybe something can be worked out with the shuttle service that serves Eskasoni. Maybe these students could use this service to reach the Sydney River Walmart area so they can access the transit system in place.
