Faced with a teacher shortage, Crosby ISD is considering implementing a four-day school week for students, joining a handful of districts in the Houston area.

Crosby ISD will host a public meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at the high school beginning at 5:30 p.m. concerning the possibility of switching to a 4-day school week instead of the current 5-day week.is considering implementing a four-day school week for students, joining a handful of districts in the Houston area.

Teachers would see the number of days they work drop to 176 from 187. They would work 8.5 hours a day instead of eight.
