Administrators at a Virginia elementary school were warned three separate times that a 6-year-old student had a gun or was threatening people before he allegedly shot his teacher, an attorney said

“This tragedy was entirely preventable if the school administrators responsible for school safety had done their part and had taken action when they had

knowledge of imminent danger,” Diane Toscano, an attorney representing teacher Abigail Zwerner, said Wednesday. “But instead they failed to act and Abby was shot.”

Any of the adults should have sent that kid to the principals office. Anyone of them could have called the cops. At the very least, did they send the other child who saw the gun to the counselors office? Failure after failure!

Handled all wrong by the school. You want to search a kid suspected of having a gun? Please do! Of course, Mom & Dad are primarily to blame. Their gun. Not locked up & loaded.

so fire the administrators and lock up the mother..clearly all can't keep kids safe

I can see that happening 15 years ago, as who, in their right mind, would think a parent would give their child access to a gun. Now - of course parents give their children access to guns and glorify the death object around the Christmas tree. Be alert

I'm sure the FBI knew, they aren't fans of actually stopping anything

This lawsuit will be settled for a very large amount of money

What is a six year old doing with a gun, and then to shoot someone. This child was never taught that guns aren’t toys, you don’t touch them, you never aim it at anyone. Sue the parents.
