I am one if these public educators, struggling through each day. Our district does the best it can, but aid from the state has been eroding for years. Now our union has had its powers neutered, more budget cuts proposed over the next 5 years, and bigger classes. It’s bad.

Oh yea tough job work 180 days a year get IPERS for life have computers do their actual lesson teachings n teachers aides have more interaction with students than the teachers poor them ! NOT! The kids that are being spit out by public schools are not educated at all

because the schools should not have to raise a child... that's the Parent's job. Kids are unruly and disrespectful.

I am retired!!! But I stand with you! Teachers are not paid enough! 🤷‍♀️

When will education become a top priority. Every country but ours considers this important for the future of our society.

Don’t blame em. No accountability on ANYONE except teachers, low salary, terrible resources, and very little assistance from some parents/guardians who expect their kids to be geniuses without any help from home. I don’t blame them AT ALL.

Is that DeVos' plan - make it unbearable. . . . pathetic and irresponsible. Most irresponsible government U.S. last 20 years - this is the hallmark of the auction of the American government
