University of Florida revokes football scholarship after video surfaces of recruit using racial slur

This is so wrong. 'Nigga' is part of hip-hop vocabulary and hip-hop is not just Black. Even if he had used it with racist intent, he's a child and using a 'bad word' should not result in a such a severe punishment. Things like this don't improve my journey, it makes it harder.

If they are going to cancel a student for singing along to a song then society needs to start cancelling these kinds of songs filled with racial slurs.

Sad. I wonder how many other recruits or current players have sung that exact same song saying the exact same thing.
