The province is offering easier and in some cases free access to child care ahead of last\u002Dditch negotiations to avoid a school strike.

“We are disappointed that after only a few short days back at the table, students may be forced out of the classroom because CUPE has made the decision to strike,” Lecce’s office statement said. “The government offered CUPE more money in salaries, while maintaining their generous pension, benefits and sick leave program, and it is unfair that they are walking out on students and their parents, many of whom are frontline health care workers.

To clarify, that is one particular union walking out, (CUPE) not all education workers in Ontario. Guess it doesn't matter to Cupe if the teachers strike or not or hundreds of parents will lose pay...Cause they still their 6 figure salary Fire them all!!! Enough of the entitlement!
