Sexsmith Elementary School PAC seeks security improvements after girl, 6, sexually assaultedThe parent advisory council is asking the school board to remove of all ground level foliage outside the school to increase sight lines and reduce blind spots. Put up security cameras all around school, including all walkways surrounding the school. When I attended school out East they had an on site security and all doors were secured requiring visitors to buzz the office. In Alberta we have suffered for nearly 4 years. It will be exciting to see them go! The tax is 0.2% on the value of a home that exceeds $3 million, and 0.4% on the value of a home that exceeds $4 million. If your home is $3.9M we are literally talking about an additional $180. Cry me a river. If the person has Laons for business, maybe a mortgage of a million or so and obligations for cars and kids in university and lines of credit. Maybe a net worth of 2 million you think confiscating equity, maybe forcing a move is ok? Paying close to 10,000 in property taxes.
