Both clubs picked up victories over the Moncton Aigles Bleus at Ness Timmons Field in Sydney on Friday to wrap up the regular season in style.Alliyah Rowe scored twice, while Rebecca Lambke, and Grace Hannaford added single markers for the Capers.Cape Breton's Chloe Parsons did not record a save, facing only one shot in the game. Moncton's Chelsea Burnham stopped seven of 11 shots.
The Capers opened the scoring in the first minute with Lambke finding the back of the net, before Rowe added an insurance goal in the 10-minute mark, followed by goals from Hannaford and Rowe in the 27th and 43rd minutes respectively to take a 4-0 lead into halftime.In men's play, Cape Breton downed Moncton 3-1.Dave Guichard had the lone goal for the Aigles Bleus.
