Every place food is handled, sold and distributed is reviewed by the Food Standards Agency and schools are no exception.
The rating is out of five, with five being the best and one being worst. Thankfully, no Leeds school is rated lower with a one although some have not yet been rated by the agency. Most Leeds schools have a rating of five with only a small minority receiving a four or a three. None have received any lower than a three.If an establishment does receive a rating of one then urgent improvements are required. If these are not made in time then the establishment could be forced to close.
