The first OHSAA boys volleyball tournament will take place May 25 and 26 at Wittenberg University.

, played its last two state tournaments at Pickerington Central while it was still under the Ohio High School Boys Volleyball Association.

Last spring, the Stallions played in their fourth state tournament overall and first since 2016. Olentangy Liberty played in its second in a row after having never appeared at state before, losing to Cincinnati Moeller 25-17, 25-18, 19-25, 9-25, 19-17 in a Division I quarterfinal. The OHSBVA ran a state tournament every year since 1988, expect in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
