Burke has allegedly publicly voiced his alleged opposition to a request by the school’s principal to address a student, who wishes to transition, by a different name and by using the pronoun “they” rather than he or she. Counsel added that the school was seeking the committal order against Burke as a coercive measure, and not a punitive one.

That process commenced after Burke, who does not agree with transgenderism, allegedly publicly voiced his alleged opposition to a request by the school’s principal to address a student, who wishes to transition, by a different name and by using the pronoun “they” rather than he or she. It says it has acknowledged Burke’s religious beliefs but expects him to communicate with the student in accordance with the students and their parent’s wishes.

The school claims that after he spoke members of the congregation and students walked out of the school chapel where the service was being conducted. After the meal he is alleged to have approached the Principal, and again asked her to withdraw the request regarding the student.

Was his sister not available to represent him 😅

Could you imagine in your parent's time a teacher would be jailed because he wouldn't call a boy a girl? And you call Russia a dictatorship?

It's a disgrace

One can freely enter Ireland with no papers or vetting and pretend to be of any nationality. Therefore, mass murderers and terrorists can roam freely. However, if you use the 'wrong' pronoun, you get locked up and face the full rigours of the law! IrelandisFull of wonders. 🤔

Extremist

Where’s his sister to complete the circus

Quite a principled person.

Teacher arrested over alleged breach of injunctionSecondary school teacher Enoch Burke, who is alleged to have breached the terms of an injunction directing him not to attend or teach at the school where he is employed, has been arrested. 😄 This arrest is not about pronouns but Burke’s refusal to abide by an interim injunction sought by the school on an emergency basis as he refuses to abide by the terms of his paid suspension. It also cannot be good to have a man with this level of anger on school premises. Attention seeker, like the rest of his family. Anyway, time to find out what happens when you breach a High Court order.
