Zuma's promise of fee free higher education and its rocky startFee free higher education was a major policy shift in higher education this year amid fears that the system could be disrupted if funding was not provided on time to students, 26 universities and 50 technical, vocational education and training colleges (TVETS). If students are still being given loans the there is no uncertainty - education is not free ! What is the % of deserving students who are still unfunded? We need balanced reporting not praises only. why LOANS?
