If I were the parents I would react this way: 1) Get angry 2) Apologize profusely to the FBI & school 3) Calm down 4) Talk to my son 5) Hug my son 6) Talk to him some more 7) Apologize to my son 8) Promise to spend more time with him 9) Check if we can afford counseling

Cops went to his house, searched his room, and found no weapons, no pictures of weapons or anything like an obsession with weapons.
