N.B. university course will try to answer that question | CBC NewsA new course at St. Thomas University, called 'Defunding the Police: Rhetoric vs. Reality,' will be taught to criminology students. maybe it will end up like Seattle with the Mayor, in the end, begging the police for help. I can only imagine the zealots signing up for this course… For me it's always meant redistribution of funding and resources to take the weight off the cops having to handle every type of situation that needs outside intervention. Cops are a hammer and you can't fix everything with one tool.
