A mix of anger at local officials, frustration with the school district's police department and heart-breaking sadness over last month's mass shooting at Robb Elementary School dominated the open forum at Monday's school board meeting in Uvalde, Texas.

Eight people -- parents of victims along with residents -- spoke during the forum. Among the topics were the lack of security in the schools and calls for the firing of Uvalde school district Police Chief Pete Arredondo."We all know that they messed up, we all know that this wasn't handled right," said Ryan Ramirez, father of Alithia Ramirez, who was one of the children killed."Y'all can do whatever you want to try and make us happy, it's not going to work.

See the interaction 02:51On Monday, there were more questions about the response after new images from surveillance footage in the halls of the school, both of which were obtained and reviewed by the Austin American-Statesman, appear to show responding officers had ballistic shields and rifles when they were inside the school.
