Not everything MCA did was wrong ... UTAR TARcollege are sterling examples of how higher education was provided to needy Malaysians who did not 'qualify' to local universities. Penalising them is unacceptable hannahyeoh guanenglim pakatanharapan_ chedetofficial

U were part of the government b4 for whatever undertaking promised then. Corrupt practices, I scratch ur bk u scratch mine. Now that you're NOT, don't make yourself a 3rd party victim. Political party got no business to be in the education business!

A fair request, cut ties 4 more funds. Regardless if it is non-profit, it is OWNED by & an ASSET 2 MCA. So, if the critics asking LGE 2b above politics shouldn't MCA make these institutions completely independent not just 4 namesake but legally? Ask MCA be above politics too!

Why should e govt use tax payers money to fund education institutions OWNED by POLITICAL parties that leveraged in unethical practices, corrupt ways to own land & businesses? It may seem revenge motivated but it is the ETHICAL thing to do. Something MCA/BN won't know much off.

Punishing the innocence! Well done weekasiongmp MCAHQ

Dr Wee utterly disappointed by Guan Eng's reply on TarUC allocationPETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong is “utterly disappointed” by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng’s reply for not providing a matching grant that was approved by the Cabinet in 2012 for Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TarUC). Why should e govt use tax payers money to fund education institutions owned by political parties that leveraged in unethical, corrupt ways to own land & businesses? It may seem revenge motivated but it is the ETHICAL thing to do. Something MCA won't know much off. Not even 1% Chinese supported BN in the whole country, inclusive those from TARUC. I'm more than 99% sure that MCA's involvement in TARUC has no bearing on how Chinese decide their political orientation. Guan Eng's using his usual tactic. Overkill.

Wee slams proposal for MCA to divest ownership of TAR UC and UTAR as ridiculousKUALA LUMPUR: Suggestions for MCA to relinquish ownership of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) are absurd, says its president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong. Why is it ridiculous Wee? '...they are now seen as part & parcel of e Chinese community, which has been supporting their operation & expansion with billions in cash donations & land.' MCA should divest, remain neutral in edu or it's just another form of cruel institutional support created during BN era. He owned the property and he need the profit. So for those who oppose the raise of fee, he doesn't give the shit. Education should separated from politics, no involvement and influence is allowed in academic.
