The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists , has described as barbaric the alleged stoning to death and setting ablaze of a female student, Deborah Yakubu, in Sokoto State by Islamic extremists.
“Such incidents are also a pointer to the fact that perpetrators of such in the past got away without punishment. We call on the government to ensure there are severe consequences awaiting such evil minded individuals. While visiting the bereaved family, the group called on the law enforcement agencies to do everything possible to bring the culprits to book in the shortest possible time.
Condemning the killing is not enough we want justice and public prosecutions for the perpetrators
It's not good to insult someone like Annabi Muhammad (SAW) and no any Muslim umma that'll stay quiet while our beloved prophet is insulted as we want to remain in peace we should respect each other religion. And lastly there action is right and will serve as a lesson for others
