The Christian Association of Nigeria on Friday condemned the killing of Deborah Samuel, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, Muslim fundamentalists, saying “enough is enough”.

He said, “The unlawful and dastardly action of the perpetrators must not only be condemned by all right-thinking people but the security operatives must fish them out, prosecute them as it is expected of them. “We acknowledge the swift reaction of His Eminence, Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar 111 who not only condemned the criminal and religious intolerant action but called on the security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Not only religious killings, all societal ills in our country today have come to stay as a result of government inability to live up to her responsibilities. The state has failed us totally in Nigeria; let us return to the crude days of self-help.

Expecting Buhari govt to take action on the Gruesome burning of Deborah is like expecting him to stop pampering fulani herdsmen & terrorists. The onus is on CAN to take Action and not mere talk talk talk.

Oooops! It's CAN inaction to teach its members how to respect ppl's religion.

And the reckless utterances of some people is also the main cause Mr CAN

..... and the inactions of the CAN's leadership has also sustained the heinous crime in no little measures.

If CAN is expecting Buhari to condemn I'm sure he will never for fear of his people and his belief.

Foolish take as usual, everything is about govt, it's all about preachers this time, terrible preachers are free to say rubbish to everyone on all sides, you hear about 310k to heaven etc.

The issue here is that a crime have been committed, let's leave religion out of it for now, otherwise, we will not get justice. A citizens killed a fellow citizen due to allegations that can't be proven in a court of law. Let's start with that first. My opinion

True talk
