An Oregon middle school teacher outspoken on social media is under investigation after an"inappropriate" photo circulated on social media and was viewed by several students.
The teacher, Dean Wright, was placed on administrative leave from his position at Judson Middle School in Salem, Oregon, and is under police investigation.In an email to school families, Judson Middle School Principal Alicia Kruska said that she had"received a report of an inappropriate image believed to be a staff member being shared on social media" and that"it is believed that this image has been viewed by some students," according to the Salem Reporter.

— Libs of Tik Tok March 29, 2022 Wright, who is openly gay, also previously posted tweets condemning the Parental Rights in Education Act, which was recently signed into state law in Florida and banned classroom instruction on sexual orientation in kindergarten through third grade.The law had been dubbed the"Don't Say Gay" bill by opponents despite the law not using the word"gay" in its text.
