Heaps worked part-time as a gynecologist at the UCLA student health center from about 1983 to 2010 and was hired by UCLA Health in 2014. He was arrested in June 2019 and charged with sexual battery of two former patients in 2017 and 2018. It's a amazing how some people are so willing to turn a blind eye to sexual abuse no matter how many people say they were abused by this or that person while others want to accuse this or that person of sexual abuse without anyone saying they were abused by them.
