Two students from Hercules High School have been arrested for having a gun on school grounds.

police said they arrested two students for bringing guns to school on Monday.

A photo circulating on social media showed the students holding guns at Hercules Middle and High schools, investigators said. Police put the schools in lockdown and found one of the students with a loaded gun. He was arrested on campus.after posts on TikTok threatened gun violence.

Seems like bad parenting rather than some kind of sign of instability in the town.

Time to hold the parents responsible. If they can’t handle the youths, then CPS needs to step in. As Deputy Fife says “Nip it in the bud”.

“the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” I’m sure it’s been challenged before, but what was the courts ruling that allows people to be arrested at any age for possession of a gun? Not a gun owner, but why are some laws/rights subjectively mutable?
