I think it's a bold idea which has some merit - but requires wholesale rethinking of the way in which classes are organised & curriculum delivered, as well as more resources. Needs to be something in it for teachers too, or unions will oppose & without broad support change v hard

This just makes sense to me. I exercised, I didn’t have to study at home, both parents worked a full day. If logistics around working parents is the main driver here, maybe we should look at shortening the work day as opposed to extending the school day.
