A college student in Texas was"permanently and catastrophically disfigured" last month when she was attacked by a mix-breed German Shepherd and a pit bull, aalleges. University of Texas at Dallas Jaqueline Durand was mauled the day before her 22nd birthday, according to the suit filed in Dallas County.
."But, shortly before her first visit, the owner texted Jacqueline to tell her that she failed to crate the dogs before leaving town. A sign on the front door read 'Crazy Dogs. Please Don't Knock or Ring the Bell. Call or Text Instead.'" The dogs"violently and brutally attacked Jacqueline's face, tearing off her eras, nose and most of her face below her eyes, narrowly missing her carotid artery," the lawsuit alleges."During this prolonged attack, the dogs tore all of Jacqueline's clothes off, including her blue jeans, and left puncture wounds all over the entirety of her body."

I cannot even imagine the terror and agony this poor girl went through. The owners of those rabid dogs deserve to be stripped of EVERY penny and asset they own to fund her care. To the point they are left homeless. I'd then be happy to see them publicly flogged.

They were a mixed breed of pit bull and german shepherd. Poor girl but if the owners tell you the dogs have to be crated, that is a warning sign to stay the hell away. On a lighter note, shepherd pit bull breed is one ugly mix.

HOW is this only a Civil Lawsuit? A huge bloody mess at their doorstep, no charges no nothing. IF they opened the door with the dogs ready to attack they need to face Attempted Murder charges.
The dog owners created and nurtured those monsters. Many people own these breeds, and they don’t do this. The owner deliberately did this. He had warnings on his home of dangerous dogs. She should sue for way more… take everything they’ve got!
