NSW Health has recorded another 13,333 new positive cases on Friday, a dip from Thursday’s 17,000 cases reported. 7NEWS

are currently treating 189 virus-related patients, and hospitalisations have seen a marginal increase to 2737.COVID-related deaths have also increased, with another 35 lives lost to the virus.

NSW schools about to begin the term have not yet received the RATs required to implement the NSW back-to-school plan, but Premier says the twice-weekly testing regime didn’t have to begin on day one of the school term.
