Racial injustice cases directly impact how employees show up and engage in the workplace. Ignoring these topics can prove detrimental to workplaces. Political divides linger, and more attention is on local elections as well as accountability for past wrongs.There is a need to understand and support LGBTQIA+ identities.
Who can remember a time when courageous conversations were taboo and had no business in the workplace? I can. I vividly recall the importance of checking what was deemed personal at the workplace door. But, now the trend is to invite more conversations into the workplace. Yet, I recognize that some of us may disagree looking at lived examples that still embrace exclusion and an unwillingness to explore any conversations that distract from bottom-line results.
So woke. This country is the most inclusive in history. What perpetuates your woeful identity politics & segregation is poor journalism like this…
