Responding to the NDP in question period today, Stephen Lecce said such a policy would mean pink slips for tens of thousands of educators when Ontario already faces staffing challenges.The government says the 50,000 figure includes education workersEarlier this month Lecce said about 80 per cent of school staff have attested to being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Well fire them, I had to get vaccinated or lose my job. Why are they different. There are thousands of young unemployed teachers who would love a job

Food for thought. We as a country reached herd immunity over a month ago based on vax count alone. So what's with the mandate and all these provax fear mongering? What are they so afraid of it everybody is vax'd? I mean, the vax works, right?

If that's what it takes to keep the kids safe, that's what it takes. Stop wasting time...GET IT DONE.

There are just under 200,000 employees in ON for various schoolboards, according to the ON gov't website - does Lecce expect us to believe that over 25% of them are unvaccinated?
