Faculty members and students of the University of Caloocan City were inoculated against COVID-19, the city government announced Tuesday.
The local government had set the special vaccination for all members of the university and students to make sure that they are protected against the dreaded disease. A total of 500 vaccine slots were allocated for students and faculty members at UCC-Edsa and 300 vaccine slots for Camarin and Congress campus Mayor Oca Malapitan said that it is also a part of the preparation for face-to-face classes in the future.
As of Sept. 6, the city has deployed 1,292,762 vaccine doses, of which 800,544 for the first dose, and 492,218 for the second dose.
