The calendar will serve the private and public primary and secondary schools in the state.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by Mrs Amina Bamidele Atere, Permanent Secretary, Oyo State Ministry of Education Science and Technology. The statement which was made available to DAILY POST on Wednesday noted that the 1st term resumption will commence on Monday 20th September, 2021and end on Friday 17th December 2021.
The second term according to her will run between Monday 10th January 2022 and Friday 8th April 2022.The statement explained that all public holidays are to be observed as directed by both the federal or state governments.It, however, warned that any school caught contravening the school calendar will be dealt with.“2ndTerm Resumption: Monday 10th January 2022 – Friday 8th April, 2022.“Full academic programme should commence on the first day of each term.
