Should 40km school zone be paused in lockdown?Calls have strengthened for school zone speed limits to be scrapped across Greater Sydney where schools have been largely closed since early July. If kids are going to school, its a school day so you slow down. Pretty simple. Shouldn't be a debate. It's a school term, you don't know what schools have students attending or not. They are also enforced on pupil free days. Fewer… or none? None I understand but fewer makes it even more dangerous for those few kids. Dropping your speed for a hundred metres or so won’t kill you - but imagine how you would feel if you dragged one of those little buggers under your car that far.
