The University of British Columbia, University of Alberta and McGill University say they have no intention of mandating proof of COVID-19 immunization for students

The McGill University campus is seen in Montreal on June 21, 2016. McGill is among the major Canadian schools saying they have no intention of mandating proof of COVID-19 immunization for students.vaccine likely won’t be a requirement to return to the physical classroom at some universities in September, with several large schools saying they have no intention of mandating proof of immunization for students.

“Others feel that as long as they themselves are vaccinated, and there are reasonable precautions, then it shouldn’t be a requirement,” Kirk said. Dozens of universities in the United States have opted to require proof of vaccination, including Rutgers, Brown, Cornell and Northeastern. “We are looking very carefully at it, hoping to align with allied countries,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said last week.

Then I would say no to that university

Stupid decision.

If that is the case, I'll be giving my classes online again- as someone on immunosuppressive drugs, I can't afford the risk of a crowd of unvaccinated students.

Which universities? wamting yo know where not to send kids.

why bother then? why bother wearing masks & closing borders and following rules? These ppl are educators? Medicine obviously not their specialty.

People can decide for themselves if they want to take the vaccine.

Those who choose to go for their public health education at these universities should rethink their decisions. 😂

As someone about to return to work on a large university campus, I find this story terrifying.

Not wise.

Read it as : list of Canadian universities to avoid.

Then the infected students should have the right to sue university for failing to provide proper protection.

? Yes let it all shut down come November.

Sounds like poor judgement to me

Should cut all federal funding to the COVID-19 denial universities

What a foolish decision. No government funding for universities failing to protect students and instructors.

Proof of vaccination would cause medical segregation. Students like my granddaughter would not be able to attend as she can't have a vaccination.

Yet they cry if they don’t get government funding.

Good. K-12 is one thing, but it seems weird to mandate them at university

Hell no. Let’s kill some more mfkrs who fail the natural selection

Right on. Resist the mark of the beast.

Do they still require physicals and proof of other vaccinations? Pity, in the next 18 months I will have two university age kids.

Same applies to the so called 'CovidVaccines'. Good. That’s really too bad. Would have been a great way to incent students to get the vaccine, and then enjoy a more normal university experience. And also help the rest of society too. Why can’t anybody just take a stance and go with it?
