The city government of Manila and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) have coordinated to convert school facilities as temporary isolation centers for COVID-19 patients starting this month.

The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde has converted its unused classrooms and facilities to accommodate asymptomatic and mild COVID-19 patients who are unable to isolate safely in their homes.

According to the DLS-CSB, the converted isolation facilities will be their contribution to help minimize the surge of COVID-19 cases in the country. Meanwhile, the DLS-CSB assured the Benildean community that the campus will be regularly disinfected.
