Well its great i am all for the British spirit and our willingness to help each other.But for me these families shouldn't depend on the government meals for kids. I have seen a women with 4 kids + husband, feed them for 30 pounds a week.Because she cooked the three meals.

According to the government's benefit checker & the DWP parents can receive £25,500 a year in benefits which is the equivalent of someone working earning over £35,000 a year. So if you can't feed your kids on that you're obviously spending money intended for your kid on yourself.

Low income families already receive FSMs, I drag my disabled butt out of bed every morning to work full time which means I have to pay for my kids’ meals. They receive child benefit which is enough to pay for the kids’ lunches during holidays.🤷♂️
