Una Healy shared a special moment today as she waved her children off for their very first day at school in Ireland. And bursting with pride as she watched them start their new life in her home town of Thurles, the country singer, revealed they are following in her footsteps, going to the same primary school she went to growing up.

Posting a snap of her five-year-old son and eight-year-old mini-me daughter in their new school uniforms on Instagram, Una wrote:“Same school I went to as a child. It comes after Una said she was looking forward to her kids getting to learn the language following her decision to return home to Ireland.

The former Voice Ireland judge made the move earlier this summer after 13 years in England in what she described as a “full circle” moment. After packing up her belongings from her Northampton home, she said that she couldn’t think of anywhere better to be during this really strange time. “I am feeling very nostalgic actually because the last time I was on a ferry was 13 years ago when I moved over to the UK first, and so much has happened since,” she said.
