Suzanne Byrne, 48, has pledged to keep her kids at home after claiming they were told not to wear their masks at school.
She and her sons Angelo Galindo, 15, Roman Galindo, 13 and daughter Ireland Galindo, 12, have shielded throughout the pandemic. ”We haven’t done this for six months just to risk our health now. I’ve just got to sit here until we can reach some kind of compromise.” The dispute has left social media users torn over who is right, with dozens of people siding with Suzanne on Facebook.Rebecca Rose also said: "Masks are more to protect others, but they also afford the wearer a little protection, which is better than nothing. Ms Phillips said the health and safety of pupils was at the top of the school’s priority list as children returned. “The health and safety of our children remains paramount, together with the safeguarding of their education.”
