The Orange County Health Care Agency has announced that state waivers have been approved for in-person classes to begin at about 24 private elementary schools and one public school district serving kindergarten through sixth grade.

If the LA School District starts testing everyone they will not reopen until the end of time.... Even though everyone will be asymptomatic the hysteria is so great it will be like 'oh no' 4 people tested positive we must shutdown again and again and again

Good for them. As an aside, this statement by the OC official cited in the article is absurd. It’s not home education that’s the problem. It’s online education for children, uncoupled for real human interaction for children, and is always going to be, subpar.

The issue shouldn't be based around test results, but rather hospitilations and death. So what if someone had a mild case, as that seems to be the majority of cases.

I wouldn't send my kid to school in this pandemic. Let's defeat the virus. Until then we cant go back to normal.
