KUALA LUMPUR: The decision to accept UEC holders for the PISMP programme specialising in Chinese language at Teachers' Training Institutes (IPG) has been ongoing since 2011, says Education Minister Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin.

He said that the programme was even continued under the Pakatan Harapan administration when the Education Ministry was led by Dr Maszlee Malik ."No matter what, the policy existed, by accepting UEC holders at IPG specialising in Chinese language to cater the demand at vernacular schools.
